Applied Biometrics has recently acquired international patents on biometric identification and related sequential biometric software, incorporating the patents and technologies of Senselect Ltd. An experienced and high-profile team of Investors and Executives has been brought together to take the company forward.

Applied Biometrics’ primary purpose is to develop its portfolio of existing international biometric patents and to extend and add new biometric patents to this portfolio. These patents will be licensed to companies interested in incorporating secure biometric capabilities such as BiometricPIN™, SAS (Secure Application Switching) and APC (Automatic Performance Calibration of biometric devices), into their own access control systems and other applications

Applied Biometrics has created technology models of its core BiometricPIN™ technology and works directly with clients and Partners wishing to integrate this secure biometric technology into their systems.

BiometricPIN™ technology improves the biometric accuracy and biometric security of user identification, provides biometric privacy controls and allows different levels of biometric security to be configured into biometric identification programs. Early stage live applications are already demonstrable and in the marketplace through Fingerpin Ltd, our first global Partner.

APC ensures that all biometric readers, in a large-scale biometric identification system like an ID Card or Border Control system; operate consistently to set biometric performance levels and that the users obtain the same equivalence of performance at any of the biometric readers in the system.
